Well, we might have to trailer up to Akron, and stay in a motel Friday AND Saturday nights...

my "wonderful" ex-wife gave my son ferrets for Christmas last year, and now we can't take off and go like we used to. Now we have to get motel rooms, and take the ferrets with us, and leave them in the room.

If you REALLY hate someone, and want to tie them down for about 8 years... buy them ferrets... it's worse than having a 1 year old for 8 damned years...

I got the wipers fixed yesterday

Put a thermostat back in so it like cooler weather just fine again.

Replumbed the heater core, so I have some heat.

I also lined up a baby sitter for my son's ferrets (what a pain)

SO... yes, we are planning on coming... BUT, with the thing smoking a bit under hard acceleration, I think I will trailer it to Akron...

will I get made fun of for that?? LOL... I don't care, cause that is what I am going to do..

Unless something happens to in the mean time, we will be there.

I took it for a 100 mile road trip this morning, and it did fine.. a little oil smell here... fuel smell there.. coolant odor now and then.. LOL.. just a enough to make you nervous... you know.. stop...... check it out... it's fine... keep on going... HAHA..

But, this muffler resonates HORRIBLY in 4th at 65... it cruises effortlessly at 75, but that is ticket speed..

Yep, I will come, but I am going to trailer it.

As for the smoke are you sure it is not hazing the tires as you accel hard :lol:

LOL... yeah.. I feel it. This is my Third festy, the first one was a jewel that I didn't appreciate till it was gone.. totally loaded GL I think it was.. I paid $600 for it, and drove it till the left front wheel fell off at an intersection.. (actually broke a ball joint and pulled the axle out... I gave it to the tow driver to get out of there before the cops showed up.. I didn't have insurance on it... lol..

The second one I bought for $100.00 out of a guys driveway, he said I would have to have it towed as the rear wheels were locked up and it wouldn't start or run.. I got in, it fired right up and ran fine.. the guy stood there scratching his head as I drove out of the driveway dragging the rear wheels, the first one came loose as I pulled out of the driveway, and the other about two blocks down the road... I drove it till a friend of mine talked me out of it...


I have been dreaming of a ShoGun.... and day dreaming of a B6t for quite some time.... when I saw this B6, I KNEW I had to have it..


I will fit right in.. I am a fanatic about things I love.. I have ALWAYS loved Festivas.. There is just something about them.. I drool over the pictures on Car domain (then found most of them HERE!! LOL) and go gaga over the cars in the Gallery.. I like the dented up little rusty Festys that the owners STILL won't sell me..

I even have a rubber stamp made up that says something to the effect:

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SELLING THIS CAR

Really.. I will bring it and show you.. I keep it in my truck so I don't have to write notes and put them on windshields..

See.. I buy Suzuki 4x4's and look for Festys and such... I have been buying the Zuks for a while, and I am hooked on them too, but I would much rather have the Festys for road driving and the Zukis for off road.


By the way, I like Fiestas too... hope that doesn't outcast me... lol...
