I was looking at all the volt meters on ebay and they come in different sizes and shape even ones that look the same. You guys would have to agree on one you all like so I could print a bezel out to those dimensions. You all just want the one that w4rkry is sending me and is pictured above?

So should I just buy a few of these volt meters and sell the entire unit together? Or would you guys just want to buy the bezel for them? If I buy the meters I would just add five bucks to the original 12 for the bezel for a total of 17 bucks.

Totally. I would want a plate that just says "VOLT" or "VOLTAGE".

How do you guys wire these as far as how to run the wiring and what is the power supply? I'd like to try one too. I suck at electrical stuff. Thanks

You should be able to tie the +12V power wire and the +12v sensor wire into any Keyed 12V source on the car (like factory clock wire or radio, etc) and then ground the ground.

                        Got one off..

I was pleasantly surprised when Nate (skeeters_keepers) offered to send me his file of the bezel he scanned and printed. He has a superior printer and scanner and I could not print out the detail that he has on his originals, unfortunately. BUT I was able to place his screw holders into my prints so that we can use our original tangs that hold the plate in place. Thanks a ton Nate is was super nice of you to do that. If you want a plate/bezel that has the original look to it I would still go with Nate and his print out of those, if he has the time, he is apparently very busy right now.

Here are the photos of the first one I printed off. Looks pretty cool. The tang thing worked real well BUT when I went to take it off one side tang stayed attached to the car and pulled the screws out of the plate. I don't believe I had that side screwed down all the way though. I hooked up a 9 volt to show it lit up.

Just curious. Why don't you guys just cut a hole out in your existing plate and plop the meter in there that way? I'll sell these to ya if you guys want em but just wondering why you don't just do that.

So any of you guys still want to buy one of these? Hey chrisofna does this look like something you would want? I thought I would add a lightning bolt and painted it yellow?? You like that style lettering of volt or would you just prefer common text?

I have 4 of these volt meters I bought to go with these bezel/plates. I can make em plain or any wording you would like.

I don't have light blue paint but I could mix the dark blue I have with white and get something close to light blue. Price is same..$12 for the bezel and $5 for the meter. So total of $17 shipped and all. I have 4 meters that I bought to sell. Let me know.

I don't like the way the letters are "bleeding" into the surrounding area of the bezel. I tried to take the best, worse angle photo to show what it looks like. From a few feet away and looking at it straight on it don't look that bad. I know its happening because of the way I have to print these, standing up, so the letters are being printed on sideways. I guess plain is the best way to go unless you don't mind the look of this.
