The Bearing goes on first then the Washer, it also looks like you have the bearing on upside down. On a side note, There looks to be a good amount of grit in the bearing grease and that is not a good thing...

Chris and I made some progress today! thanks a ton walth!
I got my car aligned and then took it to a local body shop to get a quote and have them check it out. They just eyeballed it but they think I should just replace the drivers side lca (it's bent) and they think that might be the only problem. they did not see any damage to the frame or anything like that.
That sounds wayyyy too good to be true!
I am going to put my car back together but I dont want to use all these rusty nuts and bolts. Anyone know where to buy the 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, etc hex screws for our cars? Mostly for the front end like the fender, fender guard, lights, and everything. Havent looked around too much but I'm gonna search the web and the forums.92 Festiva L - bp & hydro g, advanced coilovers, aspire brake swapped

I agree, it's too good to be true. If the LCA, which is a thick piece of cast iron, is bent, you can bet so are other things.Trees aren't kind to me...

Im not sure exactly how you crashed but i highly doubt there is no frame damage from the photos you posted.
You cant eyeball frames. The shop is probably seeing a cheap car and all they think you need is for it to have all 4 wheels pointing the same direction.
a modern car can go into a diamond shape just from a hard curb hit to one tire. Thats a pain to pull out and many shops will just get the wheels pointing straight and call it good.
99% sure your frame is out of factory alignment past the salvage inspection tolerances, just up to you if you feel you need it straight.

My car had identical LCA. The wheel was pushed back and took the sway bar mount with it. See page 2 and 3 of "hoopty build thread" https://fordfestiva.com/forums/showt...ghlight=hoopty

Dang Bob it looks like you were in a similar situation last year. I read a good amount of that thread and seeing what happened to your car to how good it looks now is really inspiring. Hopefully my car can make a similar comeback to yours!92 Festiva L - bp & hydro g, advanced coilovers, aspire brake swapped
