Is that the switch that goes in the manual transmission by the passenger side drive shaft? I think it's called the fifth gear switch. If it is I would be interested in purchasing it, assuming of course that you'd be willing to sell it

I just picked any image at random.
That is an old pic of a reverse light switch.
You can still buy one from Rear Counter.
It has a watertite connector.
The wires usually get brittle with age and break off at the switch.
