        I have the Ball Studs that you need for Hood Struts if anyone needs a set. $8 Shipped for a set of 4.

            I'm glad it started. Next time, the first thing to check is the inertia switch. Reach in the access cover for the left rear taillight and feel if the button on top of the inertia switch is pushed down. Gas will not pump if it is popped up. A very quick and easy check.

              As far as "how long do they last"? - my one and only Festy was an automatic, and when I finally took it off the road, it had 275,000 miles and ran like a champ, trans shifted great and was never touched - the only reason I pulled it off the road was that the crank snout had worn so much that the front main seal would no longer hold its oil - I got tired of cleaning the windshield of the oil that flung up onto the underside of the hood which would migrate to the top side of the hood and fling onto the windshield
