I also read in a car mag several years ago that the chevy cavalier was sold in Japan badged as a toyota!!!!!

The first car is what it's sold as the second is the car it actually is.

I did a little searching and while some omnis had vw engines and trans they were still dodge cars. I also researched the luv and you are right the luv was always an isuzu and never a datsun. good job! Interesting to find out this stuff. That's why I started this post.

that thing is hilarious. I have an aunt that drove all kinds of caddys from the 60's-90's and man I got a kick out of pointing out the cimarron to her. She didn't like it one bit! :lol:
