Ok, here's what you do... hop on GA400 north... drive till you get to the light at the end of 400, take a left and keep going till you get to dahlonega (about 5-6 miles). Thats where I live. I'll let you drive my stock '91 and my 1.8L BP '93 convertible if you want, I'm 21 so its legal. We can also go check out a decent teal '93 with the factory alloys thats been sitting at a car lot near here. My cell is 706-973-9441, give me a holler sometime and we'll talk festies

uh-oh I just reread your first post and it sounds like the teal car you found at the lot may be the same teal one I was talking about... the body looked ok to me but I never looked inside it or drove it. But yeah, the tag in the window reads $2295. Was it just off the square up in dahlonega? if its as bad as you say then we can drive over there in my silver car and offer him a lot less for it since we're driving a festiva and its obvious we know something about them and how much they are worth. I also know where there's a yellow one thats been parked for a while now. I never went and asked about it because I knew I'd want it for myself and I can't afford insurance on a third car right now, but we can go take a look at it too

I am pretty sure that I drove the one you are talking about. It really is a POS. I am actually headed up there right now because i left my wallet with my permit in the Festiva.

uh-oh that ain't good. yeah, I went there to try to get the guy to swap me those alloys for my steelies in exchange for $50, but he said the manager was on vacation. Whenever you're up in the area give me a holler though, its hard to find folks down here that want to actually drive festivas rather than run over them with a jacked up bronco, lol. I'll let you drive both of mine to get a feel for stock performance and 1.8L performance... i'll help with an engine swap too this summer if ya want, cause I've had a bit of experience swapping motors in these things too (I also know where you can get a escort GT motor for $300 under 100K miles, same place I got my EGT motor from)

I would have said ok... counter offer. $100. That's $100 more than you'll get from anybody. Then I'd have watched his eyes bug. Thats a crazy price for the condition. He probably saw the lust in your eyes. I had a 98 integra. It was pretty cool. You'll love the festiva when you get one. Good luck. BTW if it is in halfway decent shape you won't be turnin' wreches too much. 300,000 miles on average you know.

I love my Integra so much. It is all stock right now but I don't want to do much to it. Since it will be my daily driver I want to put a new audio system in it(new headunit and maybe a 10'' subwoofer). I also just bought a new muffler that I want to put on it soon. The muffler has a nice sound to it, nothing loud or ricey.

Thacks for the offer htchbck. I would love to come and see your Festivas some time.

BTW, the lot were the Festiva is located is called Golden Classics. The guy seemed pretty nice but his pricing was just way off. If I get the courage I might call him next weekend and offer $500. His original price is $2300 so I dont think it will happen. The body is pretty straight, some dings. There is a leak in the hatch causing water to collect in the spare tire well. The interior is complete and is in good condition overall, and the axles were just replaced. I really dont think he will take this offer but I dont see this car leaving his lot anytime soon with that price so high. I brought my camera today to pick up my wallet but I forgot to snap some pics.

yeah golden classics sounds right. I bet he'll come down a good bit, its been there since the start of fall semester I think, so thats close to 8 months now. And since I've been driving these things for a while now and I know what to look for I should be able to pick that thing apart and find every little thing wrong with it to convince him to go lower, lol. If you're free on saturday come on up and we'll drive my cars and we can go check that one out again and make him a lower offer. Maybe we can look at the other one I was talking about too, its only a couple miles from town. But yeah, any weekends are good for me, all I do is work on cars on the weekends anyway, lol, so just let me know when you're free

I am going to take some time this weekend and look around Georgia/Atlanta for a Festiva. Its seems like every once on a while one shows up here that is in decent shape but I never manage to catch it. I plan on calling the dealer again about the teal Festiva but I don't expect anything amazing to happen. I will try to sound like I know what I am talking about when I call him.

I live off exit 9 on 400 so it really is a hike up to Dahlonega but I hope to make it back there soon again.

i'm actually gonna be down at exit 9 sometime this weekend, going to best buy at the mall down there cause the one up on gainesville is pretty worthless and I'm probably also going to hit up pull-a-part down in norcross. If ya want to give me a call maybe we can meet up while I'm down there and grab lunch and talk cars for a little bit. In case you haven't noticed I'm pretty desperate to find someone else around here that likes festivas, lol. I used to hang out with another guy from this forum, but he hasn't been on in a couple months and I haven't been able to get in touch with him. I'm also going to look at that festiva at Golden Classics this morning and pick it apart with every single little thing thats wrong with it and offer him something in the $400-500 range and tell the guy he won't be able to get much more than that. That way when you offer $500 he'll hopefully take it

I am so desperate right now that if he would take $500 I think I would be all over it. Were is the pick apart in Norcross? I have looked around my area before and have never found one. Do they have any Festivas there? I am would love to meet up with you but I am not thrilled about trucking my dad along with me. I only have two months before I go get my License. After that I will be able to meet up with you a lot(hopefully with a festiva).

not sure exactly where the pull-a-part is located but if you goto www.pull-a-part.com it will tell you, I just know its in norcross and I know which turns I make to get to it, lol. I don't even know the road names I always just drive by what I see  they have festies occasionally and aspires as well, and there's always 323s and 626s to pull interior parts from plus a few EGTs and BP proteges for motor swaps

I looked on pullapart.com and it said a 1992 festiva was delivered April 6th, 2007 to the Norcross location. If you get up there grab some parts if there any good. Row 17 on the lot. Good luck.

I was actually going to head there tomorrow because a need a axle-back muffler for my integra. I just saw on the sight that you have to be 16 or older to enter but I think I can still get in anyway(passed my permit off as a license before). If I go it will probably be late afternoon by the time I get there. How are prices there?

Do you drive your festy all the way from Dahlonega down here?
