I'll have pics in an hour. I hope to go to the junkyard today to get some parts. I want a cluster with a tach, and a center console too. I think the car was lady owned for the majority of its life and then someone put like $1500 into is 2 years ago. The guy I got it from paid $1500 last September for it.

B6 or B6T,new windshield, aspire suspension/brakes, 14'' wheels, custom exhaust, tilt steering wheel, new steering wheel, already has great tint, new radio with a 12'' sub, a 9'' screen in dash(not a radio, just a display for dvd/video ipod), and repaint it that metallic blue color.

So in other words, the works.

Oh, and shaved locks, and an alarm system so the kids at school don't tip her over. Power mirrors, power locks, and power windows if I am motivated enough.

My dad still needs to insure the car. Driving the car in the cul-de-sac is getting real old.

Is it normal for the shift bushings to be loose? My shiter moves 4'' left and right while in gear.

Find a Festiva/Aspire that still shifts tightly, take the bushings out of its shifter linkage, and put them on your car. Problem solved.

                  Cool.

Would a B6t keep the sloppy shifting with the g25mr tranny?

Not unless the bushings are bad. Replacement is like a 10 minute job.

Score! Good job man. Good luck with the planned mods. My latest festiva has bad shifter bushings. That's one thing I need to fix.

I was contemplating just making my own out of washers but it would be too stiff most likely.

I would love to do the whole Festiva Motorsports body kit but it is too much money. I will end up just buying a spoiler from them or getting one from the junkyard.

I was fooling around today with the rear seat and I had it out in like 5 minutes. It's pretty cool how it unbolts so fast.

Went to get it emission tested today.....................................and it FAILED!!!!! It failed the 25mph test. I bought this stuff that should help me pass. I am not too bummed though. The guy gave me a slip to allow me to drive around for the next 30 days unregistered.

The car is now insured. It is $380 a year for myself as the primary(16 year old). What do you guys pay?

I started waxing the car today and it is turning out very well. Its funny how the paint comes off though.

Can I peel of the door molding? Is there holes? Is the residue easily waxed off?

Had the exact same problem. I pulled the O2 sensor off another engine, installed it, and the car passed with flying colors.

The molding is glued on - I used a paint scraper to pry it off.
