I have a rear hatch latch. Patience comes in handy sometimes, I just get tired of waiting on it. Have you ever seen the festiva dome light upgrade with maplights, it comes in handy in the dark ?
sounds like my very first festiva, never did get a latch for the hatch on that one, it had over 400,000 miles on it when i sold it. still being driven from what my friends tell me.
is not sposed ta do that...

so now i have two people on here that beat me on mileage. oh well. welcome to the board! oh by the way, if the car is carbed, you may never make it idle right. i've been trying to fix mine for ages. doesnt' seem to want to idle below 2000 rpm. :? who knows. i'm just glad it still runs.

I just tripped 490,000 miles yesterday
I've never had a problem with the idle on mine.
When its cold, just pump the gas a couple of times and start.
Engine will idle very high until its warm.
But a quick blip of the peddle will also bring the revs down.
I don't know, but maybe you choke is sticking. Just a thought.
