I-65 runs through the heart of Mellancampland - from Louisville to Gary. The only rise you'll find is when it crosses over a railroad or another Interstate. I doubt I topped 70.

I got 51 when we left Summit racing and went to Ohiostiva in Morraine State Park and then I followed Safetyguy, PU241, and DaveG to The bottom of PA. and cut across Ohio when we all filled up .------------------------------------------------

my fi 5 speed averages 50 to 52 on level ground at a steady 60 to 65. but i rarely go that slow, so my overall average is around 27 to 32. yea that means im flatout in 5th doing 90, but anything less makes me want a nap.is not sposed ta do that...

Yea, gas is over $3 here in Phoenix also. Having fuel efficent cars and motorcycles help.
My wifes '00 Accent averages around 35 mpg
Her '07 Ninja 650 averages around 50 mpg
My '07 Ninja ZX-14 averages around 36 mpg (kinda sucks though since it requires premium)
I don't know on my Festiva yet as it isn't running, but it will be soon. My other Festiva's were both around 40 mpg, I'm hoping this will be the same.James
