    I've heard of bearings failing and becoming so hot it actually welded itself to the spindle but never it actually happening intentionally. What has this world come to?!?!?! :shock:

      That was a good trick on late 70' - late 80's models before fuel injection came around. During this time they added all kinds of pollution control devices in order to bring down emmisions, but they choked up the engines so bad they couldn't get any power out of them. Bypassing pollution control crap seemed to be pretty common back then and often times made engines run better.

      Shouldn't need to bypass anything on FI cars. Fuel injection is a beautiful thing.
