I'm guessing you have a use for the pickup though. I intend on picking up a Ranger myself, but that's for my business. I am a contractor/handyman. I need the pickup to transport my tile saw, compressor, nail guns, miter saw, table saw, materials, etc. I still intend to drive the Festiva as much as possible. When I have smaller jobs, that don't require a lot of tools or materials, I'll drive the Festiva. I can fit 8ft 2x12's in there and still shut the hatch:-)

living in a city i'm mostly on foot or my bike, but when i am driving i'm proud to be in such a small car. to be honest i think i'd be embarrassed to drive a big car.

my festiva (sadly) is auto. is there a big difference with the manuals and mpg?
also, any tips on getting even better gas mileage out of a festiva?
