    Looks pretty neato!

I put the first bid on it just for fun. Bid was beaten in less than 1 hour.

I hope whoever gets this thing really appreciates it. It would suck to have some punkass kid buy it with mommy's money and screw it up in a matter of days.

Looks like someone already got a head start on messing that car up. Well, it's just not how I remembered it to be.

That's still an awesome looking car, and I'm not exactly crazy about "widebody" kits and such.

I love the rear interior treatment. Looks great.

So, 150 hp, right? Normally aspirated, too, right?

Also, "Jed's of California," not "Jeg's." (We have two or three Jeg's in Columbus.)

        Damn.

Why do I have visions of it ending up like Cam Waugh's Festiva??

            could have asked us first

Don't you think they should have had us fight over it on our forum first? They probably will get less from someone who is going to beat the crap out of it. Its said to think a treasure like that might end up in a scrap yard eventually, and I can't believe it still has the 1.3

Anyone think they can buy it on here?

If my condo were already sold and all my bills paid off I'd be sorely tempted!

On the other hand, the idea of me even thinking about working on that hypo engine is scary.

Damn, I'm really going to have to think about that one. Think I could swing it. :violent2:

Jeg's , same as the performance mail order co,as I understand it, from an email sent to me from Gary Fulkerson ( when he put the car up for auction before on eBay ).

Money wouldn't be an issue for me ( nice timing for a change ), but I'll pass. I have to be the one to say " I built it " . Not that anything is wrong with buying someone else's car, just a matter of preference for me. I like doing things my way.

Did anyone note the cost of the car ? My wife looked at the auction , 62,000.00 invested, said he must have been certifiably nuts to do that do a Festiva. I don't think she knows the combined running tally of everything associated with my entire Festiva hobby yet.

                        He he.

The bids are up to $1125 now.

Any guesses as to what it will finally sell for?

                        I'll start...

My unscientific wildass guess would be $6000.

I doubt I'm close. Either someone will pay much more than that, or no one will come close. We'll see!

I'll bet 6000 won't even make the reserve. I'm thinking about 8000. And the boss has told me I do not need another Festiva. At least until I'm done screwing around with mine.

Which raises the question: Is there any such thing as being done screwing around with the Festivas we already have?

Zeeknof is the only one from here I see actually bidding on it, he stopped at 1100, but the guy said he had a really low reserve on it, but to me thats like 1000 bucks, so lets see if it brakes his reserve.

Said to think about that car not being taken care of though.

The color choices are well disturbing. I would never do those colors on a car, looks like a ice cream truck! My guess reserve is 5K.

                              Thanks
