The engine shouldnt be locked up from sitting for a year. You shouldnt be able to tighten the crank shaft bolt either.sigpic

i was about to hit my head on the wall a few time b/c i didn't think about that but yes it wasn't in gear at all so i took off the vale cover and its rust city. i didn't take it all the way off but its about a 3 inch gap so i got a good look (intake in the way to get it all off) so I'm guessing the rest is just as bad and i looked at the oil and it looks like gray slime, idk if in needs to be rebuilt but i do know if it needs to be broken all the way down a cleaned so might as well replace a what needs to and just have it cleaned I'm think about 1000 bucks for this but not to sure what do you guys think?i love my lil red wagon

Yeah I always had to take the throttle body off to get the valve cover off. ( I know some of you don't )If its that rusty up in the head maybe the pistons are locked up in the block. Sounds like it may have been submerged or something with the grey slime and all.sigpic
