Or you can do the ol' cardboard in front of the radiator trick. Not the best solution but quick. Unless you forget about it and the weather warms back up and then the engine really warms up and then you smell antifreeze and you notice the temp gauge is further up than you though a Festiva temp gauge could go. Then I had to go and...... I mean then my friend had to...uuuhh...fix his coolant leak. Yeah, that's right. He had to fix his coolant leak. What was he thinking? In fact I'm getting ready to...I mean my friend is getting ready to order his 2 state thermostat.

edit: that would be 2 stage not 2 state.
