I checked it out and see it is only $25 for the 1991 Ford Manual in good to very good shape.

Good deal! So order mine, now I'll have no excuse for taking a look inside and maybe rebuilding the poor of the transmissions that is among my Festiva "collection!"

i ripped my tranny apart 2 monts ago to replace the iner bearings and it drove like bran new after i parked it
plus i have a repair kit for the 5 spd

Cool, I'll know who to pester when I rip mine apart. That may happen this summer or next fall.

Next on my list is get to my other summer driver and replace the valves stem seals on replaced.

40 bucks is wicket! i paid 400 and some for my transaxle and then i got a year warranty put on it for another 80, not to mention the 200$ i paid for the new clutch!
