After reading through the service manual on code 16 it seems it is only related to the EGR valve position sensor (might be a CA car only thing), or EVP sensor. I followed through the troubleshooting guide and checked all the voltages and wire continuities. The conclusion was to replace the ECA (or ECU by today's naming). If i could, i would try it, but finding a B324 ECA for a CA car seems highly unlikely. I just thought i would conclude the thread properly.
