I am going to change a standard cluster for one with the tach and speedo, are 89 festivas pre wired for the tach, to just plug in, or do I have to run the wires?. Is there anything else I have to do, Thanks

i changed my 1988 over and it was just plug and play. no other wires to run. had to reposition the speedo cable.if i remember right ,had to move it to the lright by pulling it thru the firewall and bringing it back in on the other side of a bracket thats under the dash.someone else may be able to elaborate on the positioning of the cable.1960 willys pickup

I did same, piece of cake! The tach runs off the speedo cable, just as the speedometer does....Contact me for information about Festiva Madness!

I changed my 89 L over and the tach didn't work. The plug was missing 2 or 3 wires. Somebody here did the same thing and just ran a wire from the coil to make the tach work.youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD
