no i think he will drive it conservatively. he has a '86 (i think) buick that he's putting a camaro v8 in, along with some Vortec heads and a new exhaust, so i think he wants it to offset the 14 or so mpgs he'll be getting. he said that he thinks the car will do low 12's when he's done with it.

That one pic of Maxtivas car, with the whole top half of it gone, and then seeing the finished product kills me. Excellent work.

I do think you could pop most of it back out from inside, after moving the fuel stuff out of the way. Tho, it is a little tight right there. Let me go look at mine, since most of the interior is out, and see what all is in the way.

Hey, try out those lever-primed rubber suction cups - a colleague of mine used one to pull a dent and it was pretty painless, and even though the metal sheet he was working on was quite thinner I guess you might manage.

Okay, went out and looked at mine, ran my hand around inside in the area where your dent is. I can't feel a seam in the metal, so I'm assuming it's one piece. When you take the interior panel off, there is one access hole about 8 by 8 inches, in front of the fuel neck. But to access the area around the fuel neck, you have to remove the backseat to remove the metal panel that covers the canister and evap lines. Hope this helps.

Or, you could just go with the body work you have already lined up. Just trying to help you figure it out.

thanks for helping me out guys!
i'm not sure if i'm going to try or not, i'll probably just let the guy worry about it. i mean, since he's painting it anyway, i'm sure he can do this. he said he thought he could do it. thanks again yall!
