  • clutch adjusting

gotta dumb question for the smart people. my clutch pedal engages close to the top, i prefer it to let out about the midway point. when i go to adjust it do i tighten the adjustment or do i loosen it???? i know motorcycles inside and out but four wheels confuse me. thanx jeff

just loosen the nut on the end of the clutch cable where it attaches to the tranny, that'll make it feel more like half way down in the pedal

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I am new, just bought a 89 L 4 sp; will adjust clutch also; but 4th gear is hard to get in sometimes. might try the bushing on the rod?
