Fusible Links?

    I like the fusible link theory. Pull them out and get in there and clean the contacts in the block real good with a needle file. Check the links for continuity, corrosion, etc. If they seem good, squeeze the connectors a little with piers to tighten them and put them back in.

      my friends fusible link for his "main" burnt out. it's thin copper with braided fabric on the outside. the closest dealer that carried it was from new york we didn't want to drive that far so i bought a universal 3$ fusible link from autozone and then bought the connectors and crimped them on and it ran again.

      the wire burnt out when he left his lights on in the parking lot while at work.
