You HAVE had a bad time, you mean throw in the towel, don't you
I would come help, but you are a leetle bit too far away..........
you don't have a wrench that goes that big? Dude, get one, I know you may not have a lot of money being in school, but you will almost never buy a tool that does not pay for itself....
My wife even goes along with me on that one....

That is so true. When I was starting out working at a dealership I kept a notebook and I would write down everything I borrowed from the other techs. After I tallied a tool 2 or 3 times I bought it. That helped me know what I really needed and what I could save money on and live without.

Also, as time goes by, your proficency becomes known. Having the right tool for the job may mean being able to charge beer to do repairs for your friends!

3 bolts and a decent jack w/a block of wood, that will let you lower the engine to get at the bolt. You have ac, don't you? That would explain the clearance problem.....
If you have problems getting the mount back on, put a short piece of 2x4 across the hood, fender to fender. wrap the ends where it touches the fender with a towel to avoid scratching. Run a chain/cable, heck I have used a coathanger, from the pull hook to the wood. This will supprt the engine, and when you go to reinstall the mount, just lift the end by the mount, and move front to back to line it up.
I did have a coathanger break once though like that ......

                  Update

                  UPDATE:

fixed waterpump, seems the gasket peeled off but allgood

took over a hour for everything.

the only prob is we forgot to pput the gasket for the outer crankshaft pully.

i dont have ac so its not being used.
