and please, PLEASE, do NOT forget to check your blinker fluid! Most people don't realize how critical the stuff is, but changing it out every year or so will save you TONS of time and $ down the road.

When rotating your tires ALWAYS remember it's ok to switch front to back, but if you value your life NEVER switch left to right. (your car will flip several times the first time you go to turn it)

P.S. Check your Halogen Fluid / Save lives.

i love phoning up all the auto parts stores and asking for stupid parts, like new spark plugs for his dodge cummins or new valves for a rx7. it always makes me laugh.

man where can i get blinker fluid i think i'm out cause i have never checked it... thats a joke just to let you know i'm not that dumb... but no i mean the car was pre fuged before i bought it i found oil in the coolant. he said to keep the radiator oiled.. but i mean it was like chunks. i replaced the radiator.. but yeah i think i have a lifter sticking and i'm to afraid to open it up cause i know nothing about engines.. cause i am getting the sewing machine sound again... i'm hoping when i replace all that stuff it helps it out alot.. so far i did the oil change..and filter.. don't have a toruq wrench so didn't do the plugs. i really don't want to strip my head. i'm bad about over tightening.. so no plugs yet.. but yeah the rest is going to be done this weekend..

You can easily do the plugs without overtightening. Just turn them till just barely hand tight, then do not go more than 1 1/2 turns past that. No torque wrench needed....

thanks i will do that.. and about the stopping way to fast you have to think my rear breaks are dead so it puts alot of stress on the front causing an considerable amount of wear..

^^you do not need a torque wrench for the plugs....snug them up and then a little tweak....thats a technical term...lol

But 1 1/2 times after snug is way to tight...IMO

I thought about commenting regarding the need for a torque wrench to install spark plugs....then far be it from me to impede a trip to the hardware store and the acquisition of another tool.

And think about it....how are you suppose to learn that you really don't need that tool until you've purchased it.
