Jumped Timing

This is about a 302 in a ford dump truck that I have, (I have 3 Festivas also!)
If # 1 cylinder is at TDC but the rotor isn't pointing to number 1 at the distributor, that means that the engine has jumped timing?

try looking at the distributor gear at the camshaft, might be loose or the roll pin might be on its way out the door

Is it 180 degrees off? The piston comes up to TDC twice during it cycle. It come up on the compression stroke and exhaust stroke.

It's weird....as you look at the top of the distributor, it fires on every other cylinder as the rotor goes around. Only 4 of the eight are firing.....I'm getting spark to the plugs.
