  • 13in wheel rub

I put on 13 inch wheels and the tires rub in back. I was wondering what size to get that won't rub?

What size tires are on there now?

I'm running 15" wheels with a 195/45 series tire in the rear... I'm lowered and I still don't rub.

Use the tire calc... Compared again 195/45-15's or the stock size (which I don't recall at this point) - And see what's close.

How wide is your 15 inch rim? Or does anyone know how wide is max you can go? Is 6 inch gonna fit?

Im guessing its the offset of your rim that makes them rub.

Where can i get spacers? I think that would bring the tire away from the strut enough.

I don't think spacers are the answer. The bigger the spacer, the longer the lug bolt will need to be, the more pressure gets added to them... So... you're going to invest a bunch of money into spacers and longer lug bolts.

What size tires are you running? What are the specs of the wheels (size, offset, etc)? I'd think about the cost of "making them work", vs. selling them and getting something that WILL work.

If you do chose spacers... I wouldn't suggest anything bigger than 10mm or so.

I had to use 1/4" spacers on mine. I got mine at Pepboys.
