whenever i start the car and pull out of the driveway, when i get to the end of the driveway and stop to turn onto the street, it slips out of gear to neutral, but then its only for about 1-2 seconds, then goes back into gear. Whats up? Low fluid? I need to check the fluid level tonight. Is this a sign for a rebuild/new trans. I may be doing my manual swap sooner than later.

It could be low fluid, the need to change the filter, or you might have some issues with the vacuum modulator. I'm assuming the Festiva has a vacuum modulator on the auto tranny. I know most other vehicles do.Last edited by hawkdoc60; 05-30-2008, 12:37 PM.http://www.cardomain.com/id/hawkdoc60
