Guys,
I'm in the process of replacing my heater core for the winter. I have everything out of the dash.. I was looking into the main vent (upper part) from the back side that blows into the passenger cabin just above the temperature control level.
From the back, there were two bundled coils of thin wire that look like they were temperature sensors of some sort. Kinda looked like the coils inside of a hair dryer, but much thinner.
Either way, they were in a tangled up mess, and since they were supposed to be in a tight bundle, like inside the hair dryer, I just ripped those sob's out.
I would like to know what they did, if anything and if they will at all affect my heater's operation. It is a 93 Festiva L.
Thanks
