  • caster/camber bolts

I am lowering my Festy. I plan on taking it in for an alignment when im thru and i have a set of the Caster/Camber bolts. My question is whether i should go ahead and put them in while im reassembling, and if so do they go in the top, or lower bolt holes.

    Thanks

My car is lowered and I did not need them. It seems like some cars need them while others do not.

My B6T car has camber bolts and if i remember right they're in the lower holes, but i also have coil-overs made for a VW

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

camber bolts are to be placed in the UPPER holes.

i also have a lowered festy and didn't need the kit. granted i'm at 1.2 deg neg. camber, but it's even left to right and that's the important part, it needs to be even within .3 degrees lef to right.

The only way to change rear camber is to shim the hubs.

specify upper holes.. i am looking at getting camber bolts and they are 2 17mm bolts that attach the bottom of the strut to the hub.... are these the upper bolts you mention? whats the difference between camber bolts and camber wedges?
