  • Wiper arm angle all wrong and super tight

    Has anyone ever ran into a wiper arm that has been torqued down on the pinion splines so tight that it will not pop loose? If i had some sort of mini gear puller it would be a piece of cake. But i don't. I did spray it about an hour ago but no luck so far. I thought about using heat but there's rubber and plastic involved. Any ideas? Thanks

    Mine was stuck also what I did was screw the nut back on so it is flush pull on the wiper arm and give the nut a few hard smacks with a hammer but be careful not to damage the threads Worked for me
    Anything for a Festiva:thumbup::thumbright:

      You can buy a cheapie battery cable puller at any Parts chain. Works just fine.

        Got it. Turned it around to face the sun and soaked it again. Put pressure on the arm gave it a couple taps and it came off. Thanks
