    Motherload at last

Well, eventually found a proportioning valve at Oceana Salvage...wrenched one off an Aspire, which looked slightly different...then found a dead Festiva hidden away, and cut the proportioning valve off that. Got eaten alive by mosquitos but worth it for the part..cost $35. Brakes all up and running...no leaks...YAY!!

If you check the reservoir on our master cylinders, it is not the best design out there. Because they have the split by the brake light switch, and it being a single reservoir for both front and rear brakes, yes you loose everything except the emergency brake when you blow a line. You get a few pumps of the pedal, but no safety built in the M/C. Always keep an eye on the left front, and right rear lines. They are the first to go.
