This is from my other thread asking about the filter. I got a new breather filter, out it in and drove about 20 miles. Got home and checked it and the filter is wet with white crap again. The PCV valve is too. It doesn't smell like coolant. It just smells like oil and gas to me. What could be the problem? The hose from the valve cover to the air cleaner was full of white gunk also.

Mine gets it also and has it now, also my S-10 pick-up. Mine is only in the PCV and oil filler cap on both vehicles. We have been having some tremendous temperature extremes lately and i have been driving mine on just short trips not heating up the engines to operating temps for long enough to burn off the moisture caused by condensation. This could be one reason.1960 willys pickup

Kind of sounds like a blown head gasket. Try changing the oil out and looking/smelling for coolant. If its not the head gasket there is some other coolant leak into the engine. Could be one of the many cooling lines for the throttle body, IAC, etc. Check all your cooling hoses and make sure none of them are leaking into the engine."If you're not first you're last!" -Ricky Bobby

Is there any kind of additive or anything I should run through the oil or gas? Actually, 2 tanks ago, I ran a bottle of Lucas in the gas.
