    Well my sister showed up at my house and almost hit my festy because her brake line rusted through... so my question is when I put a new brake line on (its to the right rear drum) will i only have to bleed the drum, or will i have to bleed it all?

    I think you can get away with just bleeding the 1. But itd be wise to just do them all to be safe. Might want to check the other line while youre at it. If 1 has went bad the other may not be in very good shape either.

      You should bleed them all...it's always hard to determine how much air got sucked into the system....make sure you keep an eye on the reservoir level while bleeding.

        Ok, I might just bleed the one for now, and I also checked all the lines for corrosion to find anymore possible leaks in the future and all the lines look decent except for the one that rusted out... it was along the frame and look as if this specific spot got all the water's attention while driving lol

          bleed all, the line rusted from the inside as well, which means that the fluid is crap and needs replaced.
          Trees aren't kind to me...

            Festyboy is correct. I would consider dumping all the fluid out of the system and replacing it, then bleed the whole system.

              If the right rear is the only one to show signs of rust it is more than likely from an exhaust leak in that area at some point in time. If I am correct the exhaust pipe runs very close to the brake line and has a bend there as well, very common area to rust out.

              The combination of moisture, exhaust gasses and heat do some nasty stuff.

              I agree with the flushing of the brake fluid, a very over looked fluid in most cases.
