    um...

    on my driver side rear wheel there is a problem that my friend found we were just standing around shooting the (edited for language - admin) cause I made a new exhaust for the festy(that is about 40db louder than annoying). so my friend kicked my back tire on the left side (closer to the drivers door) and the wheel moved then I kick the right of the tire and it moved back and we did this a few times and shared a good laugh about how my wheel is going to fall of on the way to work.

    So... what caused it and how do I fix it? is it the wheel bearing? is it the whole spindle? I will be doing somthing about it tomarrow as I am pretty busy today. Also there is a festiva in my local wrecking yard should I just get the whole spindle off that and new bearings?

    I did use search that is why I am sure it is the wheel bearing/spindle. But I did not find anyone with the same discription as mine as my festiva doesn't shake or anything like that when I am driving

    any help is much appreiciated

    I'm pretty sure that it is the wheel bearing, but I could be wrong.

    Also, you should edit your post(you might get warned or banned by the mod)
    there are other forums that allow swearing, but you have to ask for them.

      pop the cap off, pull the cotter pin out and tighten up the big nut there for the time being... that will hold it together untill you get a chance to take it apart... sounds like you need bearings for sure... when you go to do them just do the same as above, then pull the rear drum off, clean the shaft good, regrease the new bearings and reinstall everything... One of my festys needed to have the rear wheels tightened up on a regular basis... I checked one time and the bearing were still good, just the nut had loosened enought to allow play...

        rear bearings. It takes about 30 minutes from jacking up to letting the jack down to replace bear bearings. Should deff do that before your wheel falls off (it has happened to people on this forum!)

        Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

          sorry all for the language I didnn't even realize I wrote that.

          thanks for the response I was just wondering if there was something else that could have went wrong to make the wheel do that
