Well I was putting a new water pump and timing belt on and I looked at the new and old pump before installing to see if everything matched up. When I finally installed the water pump and timing belt and put everything on, when I went to put the pump pulley on the shaft stuck out waaaay to far for the belt to go on... so I'm baffled... I did use gasket sealer to put the gasket on, so maybe if I put too much it wouldn't sit all the way? I didn't torque it because I haven't got a torque wrench so maybe I didn't tighten all the way? Idk... I need some help tho

I'd always get mad when i was havin an issue, and my dad would walk over and fix it in a matter of minutes. He'd just laugh, and reply that he'd been wrenching since about forever, and it all comes with time.-Tim

Hands on is the best way to learn .
It all comes in time , some have it and some have to work at it a little longer to get it .
