I had to replace the ignition switch in my Festiva and used an aftermarket one I bought at Autozone.
It had 4 connection points: Starter, Ign, Acc, and Constant
I wired it like this:
Black/White to Ign
Blue to Acc
Red/White to Constant
Black/Yellow to Starter
There are more wires (Black/Red, a green and a red one, and a small black one) but I didn't know where to connect them.
When I turn the key, the starter cranks but it doesn't turn over.
Also, I have noticed a blue wire and a black/red wire next to a box under the driver's seat that look like they broke off. Not sure what these are or if they need to be connected.
So did I wire this right? Any ideas on where to go from here? I have looked at the wiring diagrams on this forum but they look like Chinese to me.
Any help would be appreciated!
