Actually I just came in from tinkering around with it in garage. Popped the dimmer switch out gave it a sniff, smelled burnt. Brought it in the house and took it apart and it definitely is burnt. What caused this, any ideas? I would like to assure that when I put another in (when I find one) the same thing doesn't happen.

well from what you described you have the radio wired wrong. It should not turn on when your key is off. You should go back through and get it wired properly and get a new dimmer switch. Start there."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"
