You still need to swap the ECU and a little cut N splice on the harness if you want it to perform its best.
Read skeeters write up in the Others Articles section. Its probably one of the best regarding that swap.

        Ok so I found a 1.6 sohc 8v B6 from a 93' mazda 323 as well as a 1.6 sohc 16v B6ME from a '93 MX-3. Is the B6ME plug n play as much as the regular B6? Also whats the HP comparison?

^^ You could be left on the side of the road, with rods sticking out of your pan. How soon? Hard to say. Could be tomorrow. If it's getting worse, it'll probably go soon. Either don't drive it, or be ready to hitch hike.

Mazda SOHC 16 valve (B6-2E or B6-ME) engine base HP-88
            According to Wikipedia.

I would assume the swap would be nearly the same for either. Never done one, so just guessing.

Lets pray it works till the 17th, on the 18th I'm leaving it for 6 months. What can I do to prolong its minimal abiltiy to get me around in the meantime? Just drive it really lightly, keep it extra well lubricated, anything else? Probably no more interstate right?

Follow batstivas advice. Id give you some, but youre going to do what you want anyways so.
Course I could suggest the ooposite and you might do what you should do.
Drive it as hard as you can till it tosses a rod through the block and then leave it on the side of the road. Im sure the state would have no trouble hauling it off to auction away at a later date.

i wasn't kidding when i said that. take note of when you have your key on engine off, that light is on which means 0 psi of oil pressure. same goes when you have the engine running.

Hahaha, well, lol, it's a good thing were in america, right? Anyways, yes, I will have to drive it lightly, and yes, I am able to, anyways, Wes, isn't "build em cheap, run em hard" your words anyway :-)

as far as the 0 psi thingy goes, I was thinking the sm said it just means it's lower than some other num of psi, don't have one handy, and this might be way off, but I thought it said 4 psi, anyways, for $275 at wrench n go I can get a 88hp 16v sohc B6 from a 93 mx3, I think I'm gonna save for that

4 psi is as good as 0 psi when it comes to damaging internal parts, you need at least 20 psi @ idle to run without quickly hurting your bearings.

In the 90's we had Clinton in office. We also had Bob Hope and Johnny Cash. Now we have Obama in office and we have no Hope and no Cash.

It was a quote i found on the internet. And that quote says nothing about...

"Run your car low on oil, blow the motor up, repeat!"

Cars can be built cheap, run'em hard does't mean mechanically abuse them, repair them right!
