Is there some connection between "sex life" and "lower control arms" I'm not getting? ;-)

Need to keep eye on tie rod ends and ball joints, if dust boot goes, the joint wont last very long. You can drill hole (magnetize the drill bit by rubbing it across a magnet) and use self tapping zerk to make it greasable. Look in auto parts store for universal polyurethane dust boots, they last forever. If you catch boot problems soon enough you can save money. If joints already loose, replace them.

Once joints get loose, they self destruct quickly. On my old F250, knew I needed to replace drag link and tie rod ends. Even ordered parts from RockAuto, hadnt installed them. Then I had to drive it significant distance to pick up couple Ford 300 engines I bought so figured I should at least grease the front end. End on drag link was about ready to just fall apart. I replaced everything and boy the steering really became lot tighter and more controllable. All replacement joints seem to use crappy dust boots. Need to keep eye on them and replace with polyurethane when I notice any tears.
