While I take these festivas apart,I want to save good struts and springs,but,I don't want to save junk.So,how do I tell if one is good or not ?

How do you tell if your struts are good ?

a good strut will expand back once it has been compressed, if it doesn;t move or falls into the tube, then it's bad.Trees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

3 bounce maximum from the point you stop pushing is the general rule of thumb, but in reality, anything over 2 in our cars is a dead strut.Trees aren't kind to me...
