Yes you will need a spring compressor, it is easy. All I did was soaked the bolts with PB blaster a for a few days before changing them, then hit them with an impact and they came off with no problems.

I'd say about 20-25 minutes per side, less than an hour for both sides.

When I did mine, I jacked around for a stupid amount of time trying to do it without spring compressors, finally broke down, went into town, bought a set of compressors, and had both sides done in less than an hour. And maybe I just got lucky, but I didn't really have any problem with nuts and bolts rust welded. Just my experience, tho.

I take them off all the time without a spring compressor. Putting them on is a different story!!!

Yep, I did my rears first, which was what made me think I could do the fronts without a compressor. Getting the fronts off without a compressor, easy. Putting them back on, you'd better be Arnold.

Putting on the front FMS lowering springs, maybe he won't need to compress the new springs? Your thoughts please.

When installing the FMS lowering springs you won't need a spring compressor. But watch taking them apart, the spring will launch!
