    I wish I had another fuseable link box, at least I can eliminate one problem for sure! I will definately be calling some yards tomorrow in the AM.

      By the way, does Ford still sell those F-link boxes? If so, they probably charge something like $163.72 for it!!

        it shouldn't be connected to the switch itself, just some of the wires. your fan situation is most likely a short to power to the relay

          Yup.. Festyboy, you were right! The ignition-switch was the culprit!! Problem solved and running like a champ again!! Thanks everyone, I love this forum. With buddy's like you guys, I'll never need to pay a mechanic again! Well, never say never, but you know what I mean..:cheers:

                  Actually, I got my eye on a CLEAN 1995 green Ford Aspire, so the answer is "yes", it is still for sale, BUT, I surely will NOT be "giving" it away. I'm in no rush as I love this little car. Bring me your offers everyone... I have this car listed in the "for sale/trade" section. Check it out if interested. Thanks again everyone.. -Steve. By the way, does anyone know if they offered the aspire with power windows?

                      but where did you find an ignition switch? boneyard? i called all the parts stores and dealers around me and they dont make or stock them anymore. please anything will help
