What size tires ?

anybody know what is the largest tire i can fit on a 13 inch rim for my stock non aspire swap 88 festiva ?

That's what I was gonna say too. I've seen 185/70x13 on the 4.5" wide Metro wheels. Personally I'd put the 175s tho. Probably the only thing you'll find in a 60 series tire is the Sumitomo 200 HTR, which is high-performance summer, not good for all-season use.

on a 6" rim you COULD fit some 205/60's....They would look like putting some 175/50's on festiva stock rims.

metro wheels.

well i got the four wheels for my 88 festiva. took them to the tire guy who said 160/70/13 will fit. i measured the width it came out to approx,5 3/4, . what do you think could i go with another size ?if so what size ? thanks guys.

^ the wheel width is measured inside the outer edges. Measure where the tire beads will sit.

Yeah 160/70/13......that size is available!?! Your not going to measure from outside edge to outside edge to get rim width.

I believe metro rims are the same width as festiva's 4.5"

175/70/13 tires..they are available and cheap.

You would be amazed how common that is. Most people just measure the total width.

I personally would try to find a shorter sidewall for better handling but the 175/70 is a good all around tire for us. Shorter sidewall than a 155/80 at least.

175/70/13 is 7.2% taller than 145r12, just fyi.
