  • How to remove sunroof frame?

Does anyone know how to remove the frame for the factory Ford sunroof? I have the glass out, and the four screws I found--1 each for the front hinge points and two for the rear latch--but I can't figure out how to remove the frame itself, and don't want to damage it. Anyone have experience with this?

Get ahold of Tony Cash. I'm sure he has removed some, so he may be able to help you out.

I removed mine not that long ago, you need to remove the headliner and you'll see screws all the way around the frame, take them out and it should separate into two pieces

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

OK thanks. I'll go look at it. I was under the impression that the headliner is held in by the sunroof frame, but maybe I can work it out. Or something.

Thanks all, I got it out with no problems. Once I figured out that you can just pull out the fabric covering the screws, it went pretty easy.
