I have a water temperature question. What is the normal temperature readings. My gauge reads about little more than half when cruising and a little over the 3/4 when pushing the engine hard. Am I running too hot?

the thermal reisistor in the head is what provides the ground for the gauge (5v reff.) it's not an exact science for these, so there's something like a +/-10% tolerance on them. generaly, as long as your fan kicks on and the needle stays below the red, you're good to go.Trees aren't kind to me...
