Closely inspect the little hoses that come off the hard line that runs around the motor. I've seen so many of these bust.....I just did a motor swap last week because of the little hose that goes to the head right by the thermostat.

thermostat would be drivers side front tho, right? i don't see anything in that area. i'm thinking it must be on the passenger side of the motor. i've not had time to really look into it, and i didn't want to start over the weekend when parts stores might be closed.

I would bet on a heater hose gone bad. Had it happen to me. Mine was a quick fix though, I just had to trim a little of the end and reclamp.

I just replaced that little one you are talking about this weekend, it got a tear in it on my way home and was shooting coolant all over the place.. felt like a gummy worm when i took it off.

How big a leak do you have? Might be lucky and just needs a hose tightened up.. Now would also be a good time to go through and feel all your hoses and replace any soft ones.

could it be the freeze plug on the block behind the flywheel? Im not sure if thats exactly what they are called and hopefully its not that but just another possibility. It's probably a heater hose though
