Engine pulley the same?

I've seen somewhere in the past that on a bp engine or b8? that the crank pulley will work from a festiva. My question is since the b8 uses a bp block. Will all the parts that bolt onto the crank fit the b8 off the festiva? By all parts I mean pulley, keyway, bolt, and the timing belt gear. Also could I not just look for the parts for a bp engine instead of a b8?


Im trying to figure this out because its easier to get those parts for a festiva then for a protege. I dont know if it will help but my crank is the big nose not the small.

The 93 festiva is the only one that comes with the pullies for a "big nose" crank. These are what you need for a b6,b8,bp swap.

If he is lucky he may find a 1992 Model Festiva in a junk yard with a build date of March 92 or later.

So far all that I have seen with that date or later have the big nose crank like the 93 models.

I have a 92 b3 in my building I forgot the date so I got my hopes up went down and pulled the pulley off but it was the small crank

I'm not sure if thats the right pulley. I know the part I need that pulley bolts to with the four bolts. the part that slides over the crank with the keyway. I wish I had a camera I'd take a pic or two.
