Not to go against what Mr Festy has said but I have run one of my Festy's plenty of times without a battery. I have jump started it to get it running and then drove it around....moved it. Still sucks to pay that much for a festiva ALT, especially when we known a number of ALT from other vehicles are direct fits and should be cheap at a JY.
Sometimes your between a a SP3 hybridized three dimensionally bonded carbon crystal and a hard place and just have to bite the ballistic projectile.
We've all been there!
