$100 isn't too bad. Check eBay first, though. I got mine for about half that.

The one in the link should contain every gasket and seal you need.

        I found this.

Buy and sell electronics, cars, fashion apparel, collectibles, sporting goods, digital cameras, baby items, coupons, and everything else on eBay, the world's online marketplace

        Hope this helps.

Check RockAuto too. The B8 pump is a good bit cheaper than the B3 (maybe a good excuse to do the swap LOL)

The oil pump is the first thing I get when doing a rebuild or overhaul. New bearings aren't going to do any good if a pump with 100+k fails and wipes them out.

It's like building the 6 Million Dollar Man but using the heart from a 60 year old fat guy...LOL

^you can rebuild the oil pump, I did... had several spares laying around, cracked them open and went at them with feeler gauges, slapped all the best parts together and now i have 60+psi at idle and a touch over 80 at 3k. easy squeasy

^^ I thought about that. I was looking at all the used ones I have laying around the other day and I remember seeing service limits for the various oil pump parts in the manual. It got me to thinking that I could take all the parts and measure the tolerances and put a "rebuilt" one together if it ever came down to that

Good to know someone else has done this already! Makes me comfortable with the idea.
