i un-hooked the alternator, started it up and let it run for a while and the fuse did not blow, so i swapped out my spare alt. fired it up and still no problems
So i beleive i was right that the alt. was over-charging, once i have the exhaust on it i will let it run longer and as long as my rad hoses are done, i should be able to take it for a drive finally
