i have searched for a while now going on about 3 weeks, and i have whole 5spd car to swap into an auto, how hard is that? to just pull complete front end out of 5spd with wheels attached, and put it into automatic body. i found the threads were they are just swapping trannys out but im thinking about the complete unit being swapped

whole sub frame

^your asking about: unbolting the strut tops, control arms, sway bar, crossmember, passenger-side mount, steering rack & all the silly little electrical/vacuum/mechanical lines.
All that to swap a trans?

no everything motor included basically taking the whole front end rolling it out of the car and rolling it under the otjer car. yes undoing struts brakes, and everything with motor and tranny still attachedComment
